Give thanks to Nikos Kazantzakis for creating the character of Alexis Zorba and giving everyone so much pleasure over the years. "The aim of man and matter is to create joy" The music is of course by Mikis Theodorakis who also composed the soundtracks for such films as Phaedra, Electra, Serpico as well as composing Operas, Hymns, Ballets and a multitude of other genres.
